I picked up an R2 board from FAR circuits and have discovered that pin 3 of U5 is directly connected to pins 13 and 14 of U5 (no provision for 4.7K R33). This disagrees with the original QST Jan '93 article. Does anyone know if this is an errata change from the original design or an error in the board fab?

I'll modify the board to match the circuit as originally shown and let FAR know of the discrepancy. Thanks for the response.

Should you have an interest, you will find the R2 board as the 8th item listed on the FAR Circuits website.

Thanks again for your response.
