Hi: When working with the RCS-5 2-30 MHz chirp receiver I tried a number of different antennas. http://www.prc68.com/I/RCS-5A.shtml#Ant I found that my McKay Dymec DA-100 (the best active antenna on the market at the time) didn't come close to the performance of the B&W BWD 1.8-30 T2FDantenna. http://www.prc68.com/I/DR33.shtml#DA100 In my opinion using a chirp receiver is the best way to evaluate a receive antenna for many reasons.
