It is mine design, so I have build a couple. It works realy good on CW
signals, but SSB is a bit difficult to copy, I think this is usual with
DC receivers.
You should try building one, there is loads of thing that you learn
building this.
If you adjust the oscilator, the low pass filter on input has an 3dB
point at about 9.2MHz. So with an 80M oscilator, it is possible to make
an 80M verson of this receiver. It can also be used on 10MHz, just
adjust the oscilator. You might have to adjust the lowpass filter on
input when going over 10MHz. It is possible to get this receiver to work
up to about 400MHz.
