I have given up on coaxing 1N4148s and 1N60s to perform in vhf mixers. I am going to wind the transformers on FT 23-43 cores. Will you people recommend any good small signal diodes that perform well at vhf? I will buy them online on mouser or ebay. No, ade-1 mixers are not an option. I'd rather wind my own mixers. Dear Farhan, You can try BAT15-099R. It it is a quad schotky diode rin and can work up 12Ghz. I hope it can help! Best 73's, Silva. At VHF I have good experience with 1N5711 or HSMS-2829, depending on if you want SMD or wire type.
