about any surface.
can we use this to draw ugly smd circuits?

for repairing damage runs, not so good for power runs.

You can buy 1, 2 and 4 ounce copper tape with a pretty tenacious adhesive on the back. Normally used for edging bits of glass before soldering them into a unit.
The widths range from.050" to about 3/4" so you can do power busses, simple 'wire' runs, ground areas, etc. (Also add ground areas to existing boards as needed.) The silver ink pens are great to connect to and among fine pitch and SMD parts. Regrettably, it takes a steadier hand than mine is these days. :)

good to tape on the inside of plastic boxes to provide a measure of
electrostatic shielding.
