Are there any group members that are familiar with Eagle who'd be willing to refresh my memory in how to generate the Gerber and associated files for board production. It's been several years since last using the CAD processor and appears I need a refresher course. Any help would be most appreciated. I should add that the board looks great.

Phil,

I suggest that you look at the SparkFun tutorials:

The end of this tutorial shows the Gerber generation process.

Sparkfun has excellent Eagle tutorials here:

Look at "Beginning Embedded Electronics" 8, 9 and 10.

They also have a good library and PCB design rules you can download, as instructed in the tutorials. Often you can find a part on the web, since Eagle's so popular. I've had great success with some pretty complex boards using the Eagle freeware version.

FYI, I use Sunstone for PCB fab. They can accept the Eagle pcb file directly if you like, or the usual Gerber and Excel

Thank you for the tip. Several other members have also referred me to the
sparkfun site and it's been very helpful.
