Hi - I'm seeking the software associated with two articles by WB9LVI in QST: "A Low Cost Automatic Impedance Bridge" in 10/05 and "A Low Cost Automatic Curve Tracer" in 07/06. These are zipped files. Apparantly, the ARRL files section is either broken or no longer archives such files so I'm hoping someone here may have them and can share with me. (I did try the author, Dr. George Steber, but so far have no results.) Thanks in advance! Cordially, Bob K3NHI

Sorry, the 10/05 link is there but 'not found', and the 07/06 link isn't
even there. Other links in the section seem to work.

I suggest an email to ARRL to let them know of the problem. Or perhaps
the author requested? Seems they would have taken out the reference in
that case.

I found one by following the link mentioned in the article, but that
group of files only goes back to 2006. Looks like they probably have
them, the pages just don't know where to find them!

Bob -

I sent you the one file, but your email or server bounced it back.

If you don't have the 06 file yet, give me an address that will accept it.

To Garey and all who jumped in here and to those who PM'ed me --

A sincere Thank You for your help. I now have both files up and running. You may be interested is some associated experiences with this query and your responses.

Several folks offered up alternative site addresses from which I might download - none worked.

I and others advised the ARRL of the difficulty/broken link - so far I've not had a response.

Some folks who PM'ed me attempted to email the zipped files - but having the extension "zip" these bounced. It seems providers will not handle certain extensions including this one.

Some folks changed the extender to something else e.g. "txt" - this both worked for some and not others. When it did work (arrive here) all I had to do was change the "txt" to "zip" and then unzip - this worked.

At this end, one of the files unzipped easily with the resident Windows zip utility, the other would not. In the latter case Winzip did the job.

I have since built the BRIDGE circuit and ran the associated software and this worked FB on two machines - once I got past some of the different audio controls / settings. It's amazing how functionally different various audio functions/controls are between machines!

Anyway, Thank You All Again for coming to my assist! It worked out FB and I'm planning
