Hi Bill et al, I'm familiar with your operation there, and wanted to thank you for the offer of including anyone who wants to buy at the higher quantity price. I also buy some minicircuits transformers in high(er) quantity (T1-6T, which is used in the pa3ake high dynamic range mixer) and the T4-6T. I never thought about offering them for sale at the higher quantity price as someone would surely say I was spamming. But, I was thinking the other day....what if all developers and amateur types got together and pooled their orders??? With the degree of communication we have on todays internet, this could be a good deal for all. I often place orders to Digikey for $1K or more. But, I wonder if they (and others) would give a flat rate discount for orders that are pooled at the $5K to $10K level? Minicircuits is a problem in many respects.....they price gouge on shipping to International users bigtime and their quantity price breaks are not much of a deal, even at larger quantities. I bet you will get some response from International users, they will want to avoid the hostile shipping surcharges from Minicircuits. Email me off list if you like.
